Team meetings continue regularly as part of the MIRA Project, which is carried out by Ibn Haldun University and supported by TÜBİTAK.
Within the scope of the group work conducted for individuals who lost relatives in the February 6 earthquakes, the project team evaluates both face-to-face and online sessions. The meetings focus on participants’ needs, themes emerging during the sessions, and findings obtained through the activities carried out so far.
Under the coordination of Project Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Burcu Uysal, the team discusses evidence-based intervention methods that may contribute to the recovery processes of individuals experiencing traumatic grief. The effectiveness of group sessions, participant needs, and plans for future project activities are also evaluated during these meetings.
The MIRA Project continues its work with the aim of developing accessible and scalable group intervention models in post-disaster mental health services.
