What is the aim of the project?
- This project is carried out to address the psychological, social, and daily life difficulties experienced by individuals who lost a loved one in the earthquake, and to provide participants with support through group work.
Who is the project suitable for?
- The project is suitable for individuals aged 18 and over who lost a loved one in the earthquake and would like to receive support regarding the difficulties they have experienced after their loss.
Which institution is carrying out the project?
- The project is carried out by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Burcu Uysal, a faculty member at Ibn Haldun University, and her team.
Where will the group sessions take place?
- The group sessions will be held in person in Adıyaman and Gaziantep. If there is sufficient demand, online sessions will be opened for participants from other provinces.
When will the sessions take place?
- The sessions will take place in May. The day and time of the group sessions will be determined by contacting participants and taking their availability into account.

- No. Participation in the group sessions carried out within the scope of the project is free of charge.
What happens after I apply?
- Individuals who complete the application form will be evaluated by the project team, and eligible applicants will be contacted.
Do I need to live in Adıyaman or Gaziantep to participate in the sessions?
- The in-person sessions will be held in Adıyaman and Gaziantep. Participants do not need to live in these cities, provided that they are able to attend the sessions in person at the scheduled times. If there is sufficient demand, online sessions will be opened for participants from other provinces.

- The group work is planned to consist of 4 to 6 sessions throughout May. The session days and times will be communicated to applicants after they are contacted.
