As part of the MIRA (Mourning Intervention & Resilience Approach) project, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Burcu Uysal at Ibn Haldun University and funded under the TÜBİTAK 3501 program, we are conducting free group psychological support programs focused on traumatic grief for individuals who lost loved ones in the February 6 earthquakes.
This initiative aims to provide a scientifically grounded support environment for individuals in the grieving process, guided by experts. Participation is completely free of charge, confidentiality is strictly maintained throughout the process, and the program is led by mental health professionals.
Eligible applicants:
* Individuals who lost a loved one in the February 6 earthquake
* Individuals aged 30–59
* Individuals who are not currently undergoing active individual psychotherapy
Following applications, a brief eligibility assessment will be conducted, and eligible participants will be invited to join the group sessions. Sessions will be held both in-person and online.
